Work List and Dry Dock

The projects seemed endless the days sweltered on in a maze of finding the tools, parts, and time to prepare Amanercer for the thousands of miles ahead. The dry dock finished on time in one week and then it was a scramble to load and leave!

Saying goodbye to Panama City wasn’t hard the docks had been filled with dust from a large construction project and the cash drain for work, dockage and food was enormous. Our run to the Pearl Islands was wonderful. We caught two beautiful Tuna, had a Whale surface, blow and show his long back in slow motion just off our port beam. We had ‘Buddy’ our Pelican spend the night right at our cabin hatch and left a ‘gift of stink for us in the morning.

We landed at Chapera a tiny island that they filmed one of the ‘Survivor series on. Next, we went to Contadora as I write this to nab a bit of Wi-Fi! Sending this off as we sail today for Isla Pedro Gonzales the last stop to kick off to Galapagos.
